Spatial design, interior architecture, furniture and object design, spatial identity, adornments
Meadow is a fashion store in Malmö focused on high-quality, sustainable fashion, with a particular emphasis on denim, as well as Japanese and Nordic brands.
In mid-2023, Meadow began transitioning from a conventional commercial space into a destination-driven environment. With a large international audience primarily engaging through social media and YouTube, and the majority of sales taking place online, the physical store needed to operate both as a retail space and as a digital stage.
The spatial concept centers on sustainability and material awareness, combined with a distinct visual identity that functions as a backdrop for digital content—clarifying the brand for a global audience—while also creating a tactile and intriguing environment for in-person visitors. The aim has been to foster curiosity, encourage long stays and return visits, and establish a sense of credibility that translates seamlessly between physical space and screen.
Developed on a limited and evolving budget, the project grows incrementally over time. All design decisions are guided by principles of reuse, adaptability, and minimal waste. Every element of the interior is locally produced.
