The Ignis series tells stories through fire and birds, while its reflective surfaces draw both the surroundings and the viewer into the depicted narrative. These highly polished metal objects reference ancient Norse traditions in which objects carried stories — from runestones that carved memories into stone, to myth-laden artefacts such as the Sun Chariot. The Ignis objects stand as contemporary relics from a time marked by crisis and transformation. The illustrated details may one day remain as silent witnesses to a world that was on fire — both literally and symbolically. Hopefully, seen from a healed future that has found clarity.
